Experience

I began teaching in the Henry County School System in 1994.  I spent three years at Abbeville Middle School teaching Physical Education.  I then moved to Headland Middle School where I spent the next thirteen years teaching intervention to special needs students.  While at Headland Middle School, I enjoyed coaching JV softball and sponsoring the JV cheerleaders.  I was very fortunate to finally get to work with elementary age students when I moved to Headland Elementary School for the 2006-2007 school year.  I am currently enjoying teaching at Headland Elementary where I teach special needs students.  Henry County is a system where we care about each child we teach.  I am blessed to be a part of the staff at Headland Elementary School!!!

Bio

I was born in Ozark, Alabama and lived in the area for thirty-one years.  My husband, Ray, and I moved to Headland in 1999 and fell in love with the city!  We continue to live in Headland with our son, Logan, who is now a Sophomore at Headland High School.  Ray is currently the Mayor of Headland.
